Birdwatching

Gästrikland is still pretty undiscovered when it comes to birdwatching. Yet there is quite a lot to see. To observe and perhaps photograph birds here, you don’t have to put in much effort. Dozens of species breed on the campsite itself, including the Chaffinch, the Goldfinch, the Pied Flycatcher, the Grey Flycatcher, the Collared Redstart, the Great Pied Woodpecker, the Blackbird, the Copperwing and the Common Gull.
